Boosters

We are the parents, caregivers, family, and friends of the students who participate in theatre at Hickory Ridge High School. In other words... we are the theatre booster club!

We provide support in time and money to make all performances a success. Our focus financially is on after school (club) productions, but we use our talents and time to support all theatre at Hickory Ridge High School whether it is part of a class or a drama club activity.

What we do

There is a lot of work done behind the scenes to make a show a success. Here are just some of the things we do.

Build Days

When building the sets, making the costumes, or designing the lights, we need parent volunteers to supervise, assist, and guide these students.

Front of House

We sell tickets for all shows and help run everything in the lobby. This includes getting people checked in, selling concessions, and making sure everyone is enjoying the show!

Fund Raising

Our board helps to organize different events and activities to help raise money to fund theatre events.

Chaperone

We organize parent volunteers to support during school events and field trips.

Show Support

There are a lot of tasks that need to get done in order for a show to run smoothly. We try to help out in any way we can. Overseeing the backstage area, advertising the show in our community, donating items, or just sharing Facebook posts to our page!

Donations

We often collect donations throughout the year to help our program. We rely on our community to provide donations of snacks and waters so we can keep our students energized an hydrated and sometimes ask for donations/lending of interesting items needed to use as props or set pieces for shows.
